Requirements: You need the Intercom Chat Security right to start and participate in intercom chats with other Interaction Client users.

Description

Select a name in a directory view and click this button to chat with another Interaction Client user.

Note: If the Logged On column appears in this directory view, the Chat button is enabled or disabled depending on whether the user is currently logged on. However, if the Logged On column does not appear, the Chat button is always enabled. If the user you select for a Chat is not available or does not respond, you can leave a Chat mail in the Chat window.
