The Dial Pad enables you to a dial phone number to place a call, send DTMF tones to a connected call or the currently selected call, or make selections from an automated telephone menu system. The Dial Pad can also send DTMF tones through a connected SIP Soft Phone.
The Dial Pad is just one of several ways of initiating phone calls. For more information about see Making Calls.
To display the Dial Pad:
From the View menu, click Dial Pad.
To use the Dial Pad:
Display the Dial Pad.
Click the appropriate buttons on the Dial Pad to dial a phone number.
Result: The selected numbers appear in the Number field.
Tip: Use the CLR button on the Dial Pad to clear an incorrect number, one digit at a time.
On the Dial Pad, click the Call button.
Result: The number is dialed.
Optionally, click buttons on the Dial Pad to make selections from an automated telephone menu system. It’s just like using a touch tone phone Dial Pad.
Click the End button on the Dial Pad to disconnect the call.
